This is the unique holiday experience for young and old! You can compare these so called “Reddingshuisjes” (“Rescue Houses”) with a beach house that offers different elements of the beach. These cute holiday houses are suitable for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). They are located on the beautiful “Zwanenwater nature reserve” and within walking distance of the beach and dunes. So don not forget to bring your walking shoes or bicycle, because this area is really beautiful!

Layout holiday home

The Reddingshuisjes are fully equipped and are located at the lake. When you enter this holiday home, the kitchen block is located on your left, where you can easily prepare a delicious holiday meal. The kitchen has a spacious dining area where you can have a comfortable dining. Next to the kitchen you can find a sofa and chairs where you can relax and enjoy a good book. This holiday house offers four sleeping places. Downstairs at the back there is a bedroom with a double bed. Upstairs there is a sleeping loft with two separate single beds. This cottage offers its own bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a sink. The Reddingshuisjes have a veranda with a cozy picnic bench and a nice outdoor area to enjoy the outdoors together.

Surroundings

Callantsoog is the ideal starting point to discover this beautiful area. There are a few nice shops and restaurants in this village and you can also go for groceries or bring a visit to the supermarket. There are also a few nice beach bars on the beach, one of which is within walking distance of the rescue house. Discover the area by foot or by bike; there are numerous walking and cycling routes to lovely villages in North Holland, such as Bergen or Schagen. These suuroundings are also wonderful during the spring period, when Callantsoog is surrounded by colorful bulb fields.
